Joseph’s Back Bending Tip

“When developing backbend postures such as Cobra, Scorpion, Bow, & Camel, it’s smart to start with the basics like Bridge and Wheel posture. I’ve found that developing these two posture (Bridge & Wheel) will give a firm foundation in all backbend postures. These posters should be practiced daily before and/or after a Hatha Yoga practice. When practicing backbends, focus more on the quality of the pose rather than quantity. One really good backbend held for a minute is worth more than a dozen done un-mindfully.
